Penelope Andrews

Penelope Andrews is Head of Watches, London. She leads the department's sales at New Bond Street and Knightsbridge, helping Bonhams to become the UK market leaders in auctioning watches.

Penny joined Bonhams in 2011, after working for a successful independent Midlands jeweller. At Bonhams, she has been instrumental in transforming our Knightsbridge auctions and curating a pocket watch section that brings together collectors in one place. Under her leadership, the department's growing success has included the sale of a Josiah Emery pocket watch for £117,500, the Collection of a European Nobleman consisting of 2,000 watches and, since 2021, raising £300,000 for charity in collaboration with IWC Schaffhausen.

Penny graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First Class Joint Honours degree in History and Art History, before pursuing her interest in the horological world. She is a Freeman of the Clockmakers Company, an Associate of the British Horological Institute and a member of the Antiquarian Horological Society.
