Wine Excellence from an Impeccable European Cellar – No Reserve is an exclusive single-owner auction of mouthwatering fine wines. It showcases a distinguished collection including rare treasures from Burgundy, Champagne and other well-selected wines from an individual European collector. The collection has a remarkable provenance and was all acquired directly at the domains by a young female collector and kept under perfect conditions in a professional storage, temperature and humidity controlled.
The No Reserve element adds an exciting tone. The collection has been built with a fresh, young and ready-to-drink element.
The sale brings together exceptional bottles from the best Burgundy producers from North to South.
Up north, in the Côte de Nuits you will find the emblematic Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, a historical estate in Vosne-Romanée, as well as the iconic idol of Chambolle-Musigny, Georges Roumier.
Going south, the Côte de Beaune displays rare wines from iconic producers: Domaine d'Auvenay, Domaine Coche-Dury or Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey.
You will finally land in the Côte Chalonnaise with the excellence of the Domaine De Villaine, in case quantities, and especially a superb vertical of back vintages of Bouzeron, the iconic age-worthy wine from the domain.
The collection is also particularly strong in its Champagnes, with case quantities of the mythical Salon. This iconic Blanc de Blancs Champagne has the specificity of being produced only during the best vintages from one terroir, and one grape variety – chardonnay.
Finally, other top producers like Jean-Louis Chave, the famous producer of the Rhone Valley, with here a superb vertical of Hermitage Blanc, Chateau Figeac, one of the few top domains in Saint-Emilion, the German and Australian legends Egon Müller and Penfold's.
All the lots are stored at Bonhams' warehouse in Burgundy and are offered fully duty paid.
