Stephanie Schleining

Stéphanie Schleining Deschanel is Director of Bonhams Switzerland, based in Geneva and Zurich.

With 25 years of experience in the international art market, Stéphanie has extensive expertise in Swiss art as well as business development, project and team management, and art advisory for private and corporate collectors in Europe and the United States. Before joining Bonhams in 2024, she worked for Sotheby's for over two decades as Head of Sales in Switzerland and Senior Specialist in Swiss art, as well as the distinguished art dealer Daniel Varenne.

Stéphanie is a member of the Fondation pour le Droit de l'Art in Geneva. She holds a Master's degree in Art History and French Literature from the University of Geneva, as well as postgraduate studies in Marketing and Communications. She speaks English, French, German and Italian.
