Kate Rosenheim

Kate Rosenheim is the Head of Sale and Specialist for Bonhams Post-War & Contemporary Art Department in Los Angeles.

Since joining in 2023, Kate has been involved in several exception sales at Bonhams, including the record-setting sale of Robert Colescott's masterpiece, Miss Liberty, 1990, for $4,500,375.

Before her current role, Kate served as the Director of Iris Project Gallery, Iris Project Residency, and Rosenheim Appraisals. As the Director and Principal at Rosenheim Appraisals, she managed an organization that provided high-quality, independent appraisals, valuations, and collection management services. Kate is an experienced gallery director, curator, residency director, and appraiser. She holds a Master's degree in Art and Curatorial Studies in the Public Sphere from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor's degree in Art History from Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon.

Kate is also an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers in Fine Art, Antiques, Furnishings, and Decorative Arts.
