Caroline Schulten

Caroline Schulten is Head of Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art at Bonhams in Paris.

Joining Bonhams in 2023 with two decades of experience in the Chinese art world, Caroline began her career at the Asian Art Museum in Berlin, where she worked as Associate Curator in the Chinese department researching their extensive collection of archaic bronzes. She later held positions at Lempertz and Sotheby's in Amsterdam, London, New York and Paris, handling a number of prominent collections and spearheading several very successful single-owner sales.

Caroline holds a Master's degree in Chinese Studies from Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich, and a DPhil in Chinese Archeology from Oxford University. She is fluent in German, English and French.
