Marie Keep
Marie Keep is Head of Wine & Spirits, Americas at Bonhams. After establishing Bonhams Skinner as the only major auction house in New England to offer fine wines at auction, her personal knowledge and passionate appreciation for the finest wines, regions, and producers quickly established Bonhams Skinner as a desirable venue for the consignment and purchase of fine wines.
Actively involved in Boston's food and wine community and possessing a long-held appreciation of wine and wine culture, Marie launched Bonhams Skinner's Wine department at the close of 2006, adding Spirits to the portfolio in 2014. She also established various key partnerships throughout the area, most recently with Gordon's Fine Wines, just west of Boston's metro area.
Over the last two years, Marie has played a key role operationally, leading Bonhams Skinner as Managing Director and overseeing the integration of Bonhams Skinner with the larger Bonhams entity. In this capacity she directed day to day business development and strategy, managing the company's many departments and overseeing over 100 auctions and events annually.
Marie wields the gavel for Bonhams, as well as many non-profit entities across the US, including The Trustees, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, UNICEF, and The Mount.
Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Vassar College.
