Francois Rothlisberger

Francois Rothlisberger is a European Senior Valuer based at Bonhams Zurich. He oversees the Swiss market, offering valuations for insurance, probate and estate purposes in all Swiss regions, including the Suisse Romande area and Ticino, and travels regularly throughout Continental Europe. He has a wide range of knowledge in all fields of art, with particular expertise in decorative arts, including furniture, works of art, sculpture and tapestries.

Before joining Bonhams in 2021, Francois worked for auction houses in London, Paris, Milan, Geneva and Zurich for almost three decades. At Christie's, he was a Director of the Furniture department and instrumental in securing important private collections and house sales, and sourcing artworks for private sales.

Francois is fluent in English, French and Italian, and has a good understanding of German.
