Hannah Thompson

Hannah Thompson is Bonhams' West Coast Head of Asian Art. She manages the department in Los Angeles, including client development, business getting, appraisal, selling strategies and operations.

Joining Bonhams in 2021, Hannah brings extensive experience in both the commercial and academic sectors of the art world. She was most recently a Chinese Works of Art Specialist at Sotheby's and has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Palace Museum Taipei, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the University of California Berkeley.

Hannah holds a Master's degree in Asian Studies from the University of California Berkeley. She speaks Mandarin and English.
