Madeleine Cater

Madeleine Cater is Associate Specialist for Bonhams Private & Iconic Collections and House Sales in London.

Since joining the company in 2021, Madeleine has been instrumental in the delivery of many high profile, white-glove sales, including the collections of Sir Michael Caine, Sir Terence Conran and Sir Roger Moore, as well as the props and costumes from Netflix's The Crown. Alongside these Iconic auctions, she has also worked on the important sale of Dutch collector Cornelis Paulus van Pauwvliet and many multi-category English country house collections.

Previously, Madeleine worked as Junior Cataloguer in the Antiques, Silver & Collectables department at Fellows Auctioneers in Birmingham. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Durham University and a Master's degree in Art History and Curating from the University of Birmingham.
