Oliver Morris-Jones
Oliver Morris-Jones is Specialist and Head of Sale for Bonhams' Post-War & Contemporary Art sale in June 2022. His areas of expertise include emerging contemporary art, postmodern American art from Pop Art to Neo-Conceptualism, as well as NFTs and digital art.
In April 2021, Oliver collaboratively ran the inaugural Contemporary Art auction with Cassi Young, Head of Sale. The new auction focused on the most exciting emerging and contemporary artists working today. This established a strong precedent for the Post-War & Contemporary Art sale in March 2022 that saw a world record price for rising star Rachel Jones, and stellar results for Jordy Kerwick, André Butzer and Ugo Rondinone.
Before joining Bonhams, Oliver worked at Sotheby's Post-War & Contemporary Art department. He also co-led a gallery space in Brixton that focused on curatorial projects and group exhibitions with emerging and mid-career artists. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and a Master's degree in Contemporary Art from the Sotheby's Institute, being awarded the Director's Commendation.
Oliver regularly travels between New York and London for business.
