Simon Johnson

Simon Johnson is Department Director of Valuations at Bonhams New Bond Street in London, providing valuations for the purpose of sale and probate on behalf of private clients, trusts and estates as well as insurance.

As the Department Director overseeing insurance, his responsibility is to build relationships with existing and new underwriters and brokers.

Particular highlights of Simon's Bonhams career have included the sourcing and selling of a Chinese picture collection, the selling of the contents of a Knightsbridge house and the insurance valuations for a number of private clients' collections.

Before Bonhams, Simon worked in the Valuations Department of Phillips, as an insurance broker in the City and as a Risk Manager at both Chubb and Zurich Private Clients.

Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art.
