Richard Stafford

Richard Stafford is Head of Research across the UK and EU Motor Car departments. In this capacity, among others, Richard oversees the accuracy of the lot descriptions of our top lots, and manages the production of UK/EU catalogs while still consigning cars to our auctions.

Since joining Bonhams, Richard has also trained as an auctioneer. His areas of expertise include, in particular, Ferraris, after his previous experience working for a Ferrari specialist. Before joining Bonhams in 2016, Richard worked in the engineering and financial sectors. He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Bristol.
