Merryn Schriever

Merryn Schriever is Director of Bonhams Australia. Since joining Bonhams in 2013, Merryn has overseen significant diversification and expansion of the company's presence in the Australian market, resulting in important consignments for sale in both Sydney and Melbourne, as well as Hong Kong, London and New York.

Merryn has overseen the sale the sale of key collections including the contents of 'Fairwater' (Bonhams : Fairwater The Collection of Sir Warwick and Lady Fairfax AC OBE), on behalf of the Estate of Sir Warwick and Lady Fairfax and Lucio's (Bonhams : Lucio's Food, Art & Friendship). In recent years, Merryn has sourced important works of art for sale in the company's London salerooms including Frank Auerbach, Henry Moore, Banksy and many others. Merryn also works closely with other departments at Bonhams including Important Jewels, Motoring, Chinese Works of Art and Special Collections.

Merryn brings to her role significant experience - from the museum sector and primary contemporary art market - in presenting private collection sales, sourcing important works of art from an international network of collectors, and working with clients to focus on and build their collections.
