Tim Squire Sanders
Tim Squire-Sanders is Bonhams South East Regional Representative, based in the Guildford office. He covers the South East region, including the Isle of Wight, offering valuations for auction, probate and insurance purposes.
In his role, Tim has sourced some exceptional finds including Flemish landscape painter Jan Van Siberechts's view of Henley on Thames, which sold for £700,000 (hammer price) and is now hanging in Henley Rowing Club, and a fine Irish George II card table which sold for £281,650, a record price for a piece of Irish furniture at the time.
Tim joined Bonhams over 40 years ago in the Furniture department, rising to Head of Department and later managing the Brighton and Hove office. In 1993, he was given the Freedom of the City of London for services to auctioneering. Tim was also a member of the Vetting Committee for oak and country furniture at The Arts & Antiques Fair Olympia for close to 15 years.
