Nette Megens

Nette Megens became the Head of Department of European Ceramics in 2016, having joined Bonhams European Ceramics and Glass department in 2007. She holds a Master of Arts degree specializing in decorative art and 10 years of experience working at Sotheby's in Amsterdam and London.

Nette was the specialist in charge of Bonhams single-owner sale of the Collezione Procida Mirabelli di Lauro of Italian porcelain, and a curator of an exhibition of Meissen porcelain at Kunsthal Kade in the Netherlands. She has organized symposia and exhibitions on European ceramics throughout the UK and Europe, is a long-standing committee member of the French Porcelain Society, and an active member of Keramos and the Amici di Doccia.
