London – Cult artists The Connor Brothers have teamed up with Bonhams to present Anything But Ordinary, an auction celebrating all things extraordinary on 12 June at Bonhams New Bond Street, London.
Primarily known for their playful artwork combining thoughtful and humorous text with visually striking imagery, The Connor Brothers are also avid collectors of both art, printmaking and natural history. For this auction they draw upon their passion for both genres to present a curated collection ranging from works by Basquiat and Banksy to meteorites and dinosaur bones.
A section of the auction will be held in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust, with a special event taking place at Bonhams New Bond Street in June with guest DJ Mel C of the Spice Girls. There will be a special limited edition release on the night by the Connor Brothers in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.
Carolin von Massenbach, Head of Bonhams Prints & Multiples Department in London, commented: "We are incredibly excited to welcome The Connor Brothers back to Bonhams for this very special auction alongside our June Fine Prints and Multiples sale.
