Bonhams Director of Prints and Multiples, Morisa Rosenberg, commented, "We are absolutely delighted with the results of the sale – a wonderfully varied collection of lots which were received with unanimous vigor by bidders. Of particular note has to be the top lot in the sale Hollywood by Ed Ruscha which doubled its low estimate, and the beautiful collection of Dr Sarah Gray which was 100% sold. Dr. Gray was an advocate for the arts and spent her life supporting Black artists. She wanted to tell the stories untold, celebrate her ancestry, and keep history alive. We are very happy that such pertinent and important works achieved the results that they did."
