San Francisco - Bonhams announces the Fine and Rare Wines sale on June 14, which will offer over 500 lots of the finest and rarest wines on the current market. The sale includes iconic wines from California producers from every decade since the 1970's which includes a 1978 Diamond Creek Lake Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and a 1974 Heitz Cellar Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
Christine Ballard, Jr. Specialist, comments: "We have gathered together a superb selection of vintages especially from California such as the 1978 Diamond Creek Lake Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which is the first vintage of this vineyard and considered the best bottling. This strong sale also includes top rate Burgundies and Bordeaux from Château Latour and Château Lafite Rothschild."
