"Amidst the broad sky, above the autumn waters, the evening sun hovers; returning with a cane in hand from red trees and wooded pavillion. I ask the elderly gentleman with a laugh 'From where are you returning?'; He took along a qin to visit a friend across the western bridge. In the style of Shigu and Yunlin. Written by Chuanfang jushi Wang Yeting.
Winding waters coil round the mountain and ancient temple, red clouds drift and wrap around the solitary village; The old tree hangs from the stone cliff, the fishing boat moored beside the lake's bank. Inscribed and painted by the owner of the Thatched Hall of Pingshan, Yeting Wangping."
