A Northwest Coast totem pole

Carved in traditional fashion with a series of surmounted totemic figures, a crouching bear at the base, resting its arms on a staff held to the ground, a beaver overhead clutching a stick, its tail upturned, the large incisors showing prominently, a raven over all, potlatch rings stacked below his tapering beak, formline decoration on the wings and ears, in red, green-blue and black painted details.
