From chimpanzee treks in ancient forests to an overnight stay at a chimp sanctuary with Dr. Jane Goodall, this adventure is designed to inspire, educate, and create lifelong memories. Limited to 4 travelers (2 rooms, double or twin beds)
Minimum age: 18 years
Physical Requirements
To fully enjoy this extraordinary experience, a moderate to high level of fitness is recommended. Gorilla and chimpanzee treks can last 2–8 hours, covering steep, rugged terrain at altitudes up to 7,500 feet. The journey requires endurance, but the reward is a rare and deeply moving encounter with these magnificent primates.
Important Gear:
✔ Well-broken-in hiking boots with strong ankle support
✔ Gaiters (recommended for mud and safari ants)
✔ Rain gear (not provided by lodges)
✔ Collapsible trekking poles (optional but useful)
