A BAMBOO 'PEACH' SCOOP

18th century
Naturalistically carved as a round and ripe peach, expertly hollowed to form a scoop, the interior lacquered black, one end with a blossoming branch handle issuing further prunus blossoms and curling leaves extending down the base.
15cm (6in) long.
