Three Low Countries hearth bricks or fireback bricks, dated 1594 and 1606

Possibly from Antwerp, in unglazed terracotta, one moulded with diamond-shaped panels of heraldic stags and the date 1606, the other two both with similar panels containing double portraits, one additionally dated 1594, 14.5-15cm wide (3)

The tile dated 1594 is sometimes said to represent Philip II, King of Spain and Lord of the Seventeen Provinces of the Netherlands, together with his son.
