Lin Fengmian in Chongqing (Lots 644-645) 林風眠在重慶（編號 644-645） Between 1939 and 1946, Lin Fengmian lived in solitude in Chongqing—materially sparse, yet artistically free. He painted dockside labourers, humble cottages, and misty pines, infusing his works with the unique, vaporous atmosphere of the mountain city, distinct from his refined Hangzhou period. 林風眠一九三九至一九四六年間，獨居重慶彈子石大佛段一間簡陋的屋舍，物質生活簡單匱乏到極致，時間與個人空間的充裕卻將林風眠引向另樣的自由。出了屋，沿著高低不平的臺階，蜿蜒而下，不一會兒就走到江邊碼頭，那兒來來往往勞作的男女，都曾進入林風眠的畫作，成了他新的題材與風格。重慶江邊山裏的茅屋松樹也進入他的畫面，比原來杭州時期的中國畫多了重慶獨有的天地氤氳，煙雲彌漫。

Fine Chinese Paintings from the Collection of Gebi Laoren (Lots 648-653) 隔壁老人收藏中國書畫（編號648-653）隔壁老人，生於濠鏡，畢業於香港大學，繼往加拿大建築學研究院，返港後從事建築專業，乃香港資深建築師。幼承庭訓，隔老對於中國傳統藝術尤為嗜好，喜詩文，閒時常握管，揮灑點染，書畫造詣，皆有佳趣。憑藉對丹青藝文之熱忱，隔老自上世紀五十年代起，頻繁流連廠肆，購藏書畫。卅年間，漸次所彙中國近現代書畫竟數百件。二〇〇五年，隔老以所藏廣東地區及港、澳三地畫家之作，理晰源流，撰寫評論，出版《煙雲過眼錄》一書，極獲好評。二〇一四年，又將論述範圍擴至近百年間各地之書畫名家、流派，以《鴻爪雪泥篇》為題，不僅為畫者作傳，更分享購藏經過，香港一地收藏傳統，夾敘夾議，娓娓道來。
