The handle with checkered hard wood panels, brass pommel with spring catch, and brass cross guard; Yataghan blade with false edge at the tip and single fuller, the ricasso marked "[T]HOMAS GRISWOLD & CO/NEW ORLEANS."
blade lg. 22 5/8, overall lg. 28 1/8 in.
Condition: Grip shows traces of wear, brass toned to deep yellow; blade toned to mottled gray and has minor pitting toward the tip, tip is blunt.
