7 3/4 in., .70 caliber rifled round barrel with numerous proof and inspector marks on the breech and dated 1856; lock plate marked "Mre Impale/de St. Etienne"; walnut stock with faint markings behind the side plate; brass furniture including butt cap, trigger guard, side plate and barrel band, steel lanyard ring and steel rammer with large concave head and threaded end.
Overall lg. 14 in.
Condition: Good overall condition, steel parts with light gray mottling; stock with scattered dings and dents, brass toned to yellow, action functions properly.
