A group of periodicals with Joyce content, including
1. Transition., numbers 9, 11, 13, 19-20, 21, 25 and 26, 1927-1937. 7 volumes. Publisher's pictorial wrappers. Condition varies, mostly fair to good.
2. Two Worlds, numbers 1 through 4, 1925-1926. 4 volumes. Publisher's printed wrappers, black card slipcases. Wrappers browning, wear to slipcases.
3. Two Worlds Monthly, numbers 3 and 4, 1927. 2 volumes. Publisher's printed wrappers. Light wear and soiling to wrappers.
4.Contact, volume 1, numbers 1 through 3, 1932. 3 volumes (all published in this form). Publisher's printed wrappers. Browning and some chipping to wrappers, minor soiling.
5. Hound & Horn, July-September 1932. Publisher's printed wrappers. Sunned, some chipping.
6. La nouvelle revue Française, year 16, number 187, 1929. Publisher's printed wrappers. Wear and soiling to wrappers, some separation of text block starting.
7. This Quarter, volume 1, number 1 (May 1925) and volume 5, number 1 (September 1932, "Surrealist number"). Publisher's printed wrappers. First issue with wrappers detached and heavy wear, second good with old glassine jacket.
8. Horizon. A Review of Literature and Art. Volume III, number 14 and Volume IV, number 21. 1941. Publisher's printed wrappers. Browning and chipping.

These literary reviews include works and excerpts from James Joyce and many of his contemporaries, including William Carlos Williams, Kay Boyle, Stuart Gilbert, Samuel Beckett, Franz Kafka, Gertrude Stein, Ernest Hemingway, John Dos Passos, Dylan Thomas and many others. Portions of Joyce's Work in Progress and Anna Livia Plurabelle appear in Transition, with parts of the former also appearing in New World, and portions of Ulysses in New World Monthly. The artists who provided illustrative contributions were no less eminent than the literary contributors, including Joan Miro, Max Ernst, Pablo Picasso, Marcel Duchamp, Juan Gris, Paul Klee, Giorgio di Chirico, Salvador Dali, Man Ray, and others.
