FOUR IRON SUKASHI TSUBA

Edo period (1615-1868), 17th/18h century
Comprising a circular iron tsuba pierced and chiseled and with details in gold and copper with maples leaves and branches, signed Masaharu;
an iron tsuba pierced and lightly chiseled in positive silhouette with a crab;
an Echizen Kinai circular iron tsubapierced and chiseled as an Ise-ebi and waves, signed Echizen no jū Kinai saku;
and an almost circular iron tsuba pierced with stylized floral designs, unsigned
Each with a wood storage box
The third accompanied by certificate no. 3407 issued by the Nihon Tōken Hozonkai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Sword) dated October 15, 1989
3 1/2in (8.9cm) high, the largest (5).
