One immediately recognizes Toni del Renzio's vast deserted landscapes with a distant horizon in which strange encounters take place and personal tensions express themselves, here through a veiled figure whose eye has been cut out and placed within a frame and whose body is a plank. The two small figures on the ground seem to be lost, echoing the two balls held in the figure's hands - the like of one of them lies on the ground. There is a general sense of loss, of desegregation, of fragility as of someone desperately looking for a refuge, a place of stability.
