In the Orientalist taste
The rusticated case surmounted by a figure of a Turk holding a bow seated on horseback raised on an elaborately cast high rectangular plinth base with cast lambrequin and stylised anthemion and lotus border decoration on scrolling feet centred on a stylised foliate apron, the 3-inch milled dial with silvered roman chapter ring and pierced moon hands set within a floral bezel, the brass twin train movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell, together with modern key, on contemporary ebonised oval base with glass dome, 43cm high, 28.5cm wide, 10.5cm deep
