OVERALL CONDITION
Light surface wear to unhallmarked metal (yellow metal testing as 13ct gold), some spots of discolouration visible to reverse. Possible repair to top of brooch visible to reverse. Reverse numbered 15873.
OPAL
Displaying violet, orange and green play-of-colour. Some small nicks visible under closer inspection.
DEMANTOID GARNET
Displaying a medium green hue with typical inclusions, abrasion to facet edges.
ENAMEL
Some minor losses, and slight discolouration visible to edge of white enamel.
