the movement stamped A*B
the rectangular case with moulded cornice and swept plinth base with inset bevelled rectangular glass panels, the 4" enamel Roman dial with moulded bezel and recessed centre with visible Brocot escapement and pierced moon hands, the twin train spring driven movement with Brocot suspension striking on a bell, the backplate stamped with A*B trademark, possibly for Achille Brocot, with visible mercury twin tube brass pendulum and winder, 31cm high, 20cm wide, 15.5cm deep
