A historic beaded strike-a-lite bag and awl case
C. 1870s, with purported Geronimo provenance, the pouch is harness leather with bold multicolored geometric devices on a dark blue ground, tin cones from the flap and bottom (some missing), the awl case fully beaded with cap and edge-beaded fringe from the bottom, (bead loss), an old period fragment reads "from Geronimo in 1883 on the Sierra Madras Mountains, Old Mexico, in the great General Crooks campaign of that year. There was two twenty gold pieces in it then."
