4to. Etched frontispiece and 20 etchings in color or sepia by Susan Allix, hand-drawn chapter headings, on Velin D'Arches paper. Tan goatskin, stamped and painted in blue and yellow and brown in an abstract natural design, stamped "S. Allix" to rear turn-in, original felt-lined goatskin-backed cloth clamshell case, with goatskin bordered window to upper panel, also by Allix.
LIMITED EDITION, NUMBER 19 OF 55, signed by Allix on the limitation page. Completely designed by Allix, including the elaborate binding, and case and produced by her imprint, Willow Press. She says of her work, "I am concerned with visual things so I see books as full of colour and form in a pictorial sense as well as through the images created in my mind by the words, and through the sculptural qualities a book possesses."
