Provenance: A European private collection
Zheng Mukang (1901-1982) was born in Chaoyang, Guangdong Province. He served as an apprentice with various painters before he became a teacher in the Chinese Painting Department of the Shanghai Art School. Zheng particularly excelled in gongbi-style renditions of Chinese beauties.
