A BLUE AND WHITE OPENWORK 'BAJIXIANG' STAND
Wanli six-character mark and of the period
The flat rounded base with blossom and wave motif to the exterior and floral sprays to the upper surface, supporting an openwork gallery of five ruyi pendants, decorated with birds amongst fruiting, leafy branches, a waisted band with scrolling peony stems below the rounded rim with beribboned Buddhist emblems, the base and interior rim unglazed.
