in red sparkle finish, comprising; a 23in bass drum, 16 1/2in floor tom, 12 1/2in high tom, 13 1/2in high tom, two hi-hat cymbals, two crash cymbals and a ride cymbal, with corresponding pedals, stands and hardware, all with Pearl soft carrying cases; together with a 14 1/2in Pearl Masters Custom snare drum in black finish with hardshell carrying case; as used by Tony McCarroll with Oasis 1991-1995, accompanied by a hand-written letter of provenance from Tony McCarroll

Tony McCarroll was the first drummer with Oasis, playing and recording with the band from its inception as 'Rain' in 1990, through to 1995. According to the previous catalogue entry this kit was purchased from Johnny Roadhouse in Manchester, this was McCarroll's main kit during his career with Oasis, being used on their debut album Definitely Maybe in 1995, as well as hit singles 'Supersonic', 'Live Forever', 'Whatever', as well as on the band's first no.1 single 'Some Might Say' on the album (What's The Story) Morning Glory?. The kit was also used in Oasis music videos, on all their UK, European and US tours from 1992-1995 and on live TV including the band's first live television performance on 'The Word' on the 18th March 1994. Some other notable appearances include: 'Top of the Pops' 30th June 1994, 19th August 1994, 18th September 1994, 15th December 1994 and 27th April 1995; 'Later with Jools Holland' 10th December 1994; 'The White Room' 22nd April 1995; 'Live By The Sea' 17th April 1995; Glastonbury Festival in June 1994; and on 'MTV Most Wanted' on 18th August 1994.
