The treble-grip action-body with concealed third-bite, best bold foliate-scroll engraving, the maker's name in a scrolling banner, virtually-full hardening-colour, oak-leaf fences, side-clips, cocking-indicators, rolled-edge trigger-guard, the well-figured stock, with pistolgrip, horn pistolgrip-cap and leather-covered recoil-pad, beaver-tail forend, the chopper-lump barrels engraved J. Purdey & Sons, Audley House, South Audley Street, London, England with matt flat-rib and intermediate bead-sight
