Decorated in gold togidashi maki-e and e-nashiji with a continuous scene of thatched dwellings nestled in a hilly pine forest, the interior of nashij, unsigned, with a lacquered wood square manju netsuke carved with a fruiting branch and an octagonal plain wood ojime. 9cm (3½in) high.
