seven intricately drawn costume designs originally executed in ink and gouache on black paper then printed on bamboo, each annotated for their respective character which include; Queen Anne (2), Lady Sarah (2), Abigail (2), and Harley, all signed and dated by Costume Designer Sandy Powell in pencil to the reverse, each approx. 5 1/2in x 8in (14cm x 20cm), (7)

The Favourite is set in early 18th century England, and examines the relationship between two cousins, Sarah, Duchess of Marlborough (Rachel Weisz) and Abigail Masham (Emma Stone), who are vying to be Court favourite of Queen Anne (Olivia Colman). The film won seven awards at the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2019, including 'Outstanding British Film' and 'Leading Actress' for Olivia Colman. Olivia Colman was also awarded an Academy Award® for her performance in The Favourite. Sandy Powell OBE was awarded a BAFTA for 'Best Costume Design'.
