the wine-red silk velvet dress, with round neck and cap sleeves, lined, knee-length and with back slit for ease of movement, bearing no labels but designed by Fotimi Dimou, as worn by Emma Thompson in the film at a dinner in Newcastle, accompanied by a letter of provenance

Fotimi Dimou's film credits include; 'The Browning Version', 'Ripley's Game', 'King Lear', and 'The Dresser' for which she won a BAFTA for Costume Design.
