the large prop portrait depicting Fry dressed as his character the 'Master of Laketown', printed on canvas with some areas of paint added to the surface, unsigned, framed in a mock ornately carved wooden frame, as seen in the film hanging in the Master's chambers, accompanied by a notecard from Stephen Fry regarding the provenance, 55in x 67in (139.5cm x 170cm)

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug directed by Peter Jackson, is the second instalment in the three-part film series based on the novel 'The Hobbit' by J.R.R. Tolkien. The film received three nominations from the Academy Awards® including 'Best Achievement in Sound Mixing', 'Best Achievement in Sound Editing' and 'Best Achievement in Visual Effects'. It was also nominated for 'Make-up and Hair' and 'Special Visual Effects' at the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2013.
