A diamond, emerald and ruby brooch, circa 1900
of openwork stylized shield design, with an old mine-cut diamond, weighing 1.39 carats, a rectangular-shaped emerald weighing approximately 1.50 carats, an oval-shaped ruby, weighing approximately 0.60 carat; set throughout with old European-cut diamonds; estimated remaining diamond weight: 1.25 carats; mounted in platinum and 14k gold; length: 1 1/2in.
