A 19th century diamond necklace
The graduating chain of 44 collet-set old brilliant-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds suspending at the front a fringe of pear-shaped diamond drops, the largest to the centre, connected by swags of old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, mounted in silver and gold, diamonds approximately 49.15 carats total, three paste replacements, length 38.0cm, cased by Mrs Newman, Goldsmith & Court Jeweler, 10 Savile Row, W.
