16-size damascened divided ¾ plate adjusted movement with additional jeweling through the barrel, jewels in gold settings, caps to the escape wheel and pallet arbors, bimetallic balance, flat spring, gold worm gear patent regulator, lever set, gold cuvette, signed white enamel dial with fifth second and minute rings, roman chapters, blued hands, now in an elaborately engraved gold filled case depicting alpine scenery and a vignette of a dog

Footnotes
Abraham Lincoln Keller obtained several patents in the 1880's for improvements to watches including an adjusting device for hairsprings. The watch is a unique modification probably from a horological school. The Elgin serial numbers list this as a 15-jewel grade 3 movement.
