Footnotes
The Cambridge University Tiddlywinks Club was founded in 1955 and has been continuously active ever since. According to a history of the club printed in the programme, it was an article in 'The Spectator', Does Prince Philip Cheat At Tiddlywinks? that prompted the University's club to challenge Prince Philip to a match to prove his honesty! He accepted, but appointed The Goons to represent him.
