8vo. 40 plates and 150 woodcuts. Original blindstamped blue cloth. Hinges cracked and showing, some spotting and dampstaining at ends, spine faded, cloth worn at edges.
FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM, mixed issue with the headline on p 1 in regular type, the woodcut of Lord Steyne on p 336 already suppressed, but the reading Mr. Pitt for Sir Pitt on p 453. Ad for The Great Hoggarty Diamond is present at front, but without other ads. Van Duzer 231.
