Folio (314 x 202 mm). [88], 549, [24] pp. Edited by Conrad Heresbach. Title in woodcut architectural border, woodcut printer's device on final leaf, other ornamentation. Later quarter calf over marbled boards. Some inking on title page covering a few words, editor's name effaced in prelims, some marginal dampstain and scattered small stains.
Provenance: early ownership inscriptions partially effaced on title; Leo Olschki (bookseller's ticket).
Bound in to the front of this copy are 9 closely written pages in Italian from the early 19th century, describing Strabo and outlining the contents.
