A small and rare Nabeshima choko (sake cup)

Late 17th/early 18th century
A straight-sided, six-lobed-petal vessel, delicately painted in coloured enamels and underglaze-blue with sprays of kiku blooms and foliage amid swirling clouds; with fitted later shakudo and silver cover finely pierced with butterflies and kiku blooms.
