the top and front inlaid with various native timbers including rewa rewa, maire, pukatea, rata and kauri, enclosing a void interior on bun feet, together with three original cabinet makers cards for W Norrie of Shortland Street, two listing on the reverse in pencil, all the timbers used with a diagram of the veneers, the other a list in pencil of timbers used, 43cm wide, 24cm deep, 21cm high (16.5in wide, 9in deep, 8in high).
